General conditions for application:
- Two categories of competitions exist: Case Study (analytic situational task) and Team Design (designing and modeling). One team can take part only in one category.
- Each team chooses category for application independently and by wish
- Number of teams – 6 in each category
- Number of members in one team - 4
- Teams can be created beforehand or on-site from all comers
- A team is to be registered at a stated time (look section “Registration” on web-site ubec.org.ua)
- A team is to be present on assessment in a body, participating thereby in preselection
- All the decisions of jury cannot be subject of appeal
- A winner-team continues participation in the European Engineering Competitions (Cluj-Napoca, Romania). If one of the members of a team can not leave for this event – one of the members of a second-prize team becomes a member of a winner-team and will take part instead of this person.
Demands to participants:
- All participants must register and pass an assessment, fill in a resume
- All participants must be present on all the days of competitions, on presentations, official opening/closing of a project
- Participants are full-time students of ZNTU (NU «LP» / NTUU «KPI»)
- English language skills (Intermediate level or upper)
- Compliance of competitions format
